Booking privacy notice · Last updated 23 August 2026

Your details belong inside the booking—not beyond it.

Kusudi, operated by Nayma, uses personal information only to manage enquiries, appointments, client communication, service delivery and the records a small business reasonably needs.

01

Who is responsible

Kusudi, represented by Nayma, is the responsible party for personal information submitted through this booking service. Booking and privacy questions can be sent to booking@kusudistudio.co.za.

02

Information we use

For a booking, this may include your name, email address, mobile number, service, requested date and time, occasion, getting-ready area, call-out preference and notes you choose to share. The system also keeps appointment status, communications, changes, technical security records and a limited audit history.

Please do not include identity numbers, bank-card details, medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information in the notes. If a health or skin consideration is relevant, share only what Nayma needs to provide the service safely.

03

Why we use it

Information is used to respond to your request, prevent double bookings, arrange the deposit, prepare for the service, confirm or change the appointment, send essential reminders, maintain accurate business records, protect the booking service and address questions or disputes.

Booking details are not treated as consent for unrelated direct marketing. If Kusudi later offers optional marketing, it will use a separate choice and an unsubscribe route.

04

Service providers and access

Nayma is the only authorised user of the private booking office. Carefully selected technology providers may process information only as needed to operate hosting, authentication, secure storage, email notifications or calendar synchronisation. Google Calendar connection is optional and controlled by Nayma. Information is not sold.

Providers may operate infrastructure outside South Africa. Where that happens, Kusudi will use reasonable contractual and security safeguards appropriate to the service and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

05

Retention and security

Booking records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, client care, tax or accounting duties, dispute handling and security. Short-lived rate-limit, request and session records expire automatically. When information is no longer required, it should be securely deleted or de-identified.

The platform uses encrypted transport, owner-only authentication, server-enforced access rules, expiring session controls, unguessable client links, transactional booking locks and an audit trail. No internet service can promise absolute security, so please keep your private booking link confidential.

06

Your choices and rights

Subject to POPIA, you may ask whether Kusudi holds your information, request access or correction, object to certain processing, ask for deletion where retention is no longer required, or raise a concern about how your information is handled. A reasonable identity check may be required before private information is released or changed.

You can use your secure booking link for available self-service changes. For another privacy request, email the address below with enough context to locate the booking—but never send your password.

07

People under 18

Matric-farewell services may involve a person under 18. A parent or guardian should make or approve the booking and provide the contact details needed for it. Kusudi does not knowingly use a minor's details for unrelated marketing or public stories without appropriate permission.

08

Contact and complaints

Start with Kusudi at booking@kusudistudio.co.za so Nayma can understand and address the concern. You may also contact the Information Regulator (South Africa) ↗ if you believe your POPIA rights have not been respected.

This notice may be refined as providers or features change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new update date.
